The objective of ListeriaPredict is to enhance capacity across Europe in applying predictive microbiology techniques to shelf-life studies on Listeria monocytogenes in ready-to-eat foods. Furthermore, the project will disseminate the expertise and knowledge accumulated within the consortium to a wider audience within both industry, research and regulatory authorities during the period of the project and assemble a range of resources that will continue to be available beyond the lifetime of the project.
This will be achieved through the transfer or exchange of knowledge, skills, competencies and abilities between the partner organisations:
Predictive Global modelling of challenge test data (IPB)
Incorporation of WGS information to predictive modelling (UCD)
Shelf life simulation modelling (University of Córdoba)
Strain-to-strain influence in Listeria monocytogenes challenge test studies (IZSAM).
