Lihan Huang is the Research Leader of the Residue Chemistry and Predictive Microbiology Research Unit at ARS. He worked at Campbell Soup Company’s R&D before coming to ARS. His current research interests are in developing advanced methods for microbial predictive modeling and computer simulation. For predictive modeling, he is particularly interested in one-step dynamic modeling and Bayesian analysis and their application in food safety process control and management. He serves as Scientific Editor of Journal of Food Science and also as Editor of Food Control. Dr. Huang is on the Department of States Fulbright Specialist Roster (2017-2020). He is a member of the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Meeting on Microbiological Risk Assessment (JEMRA) Roster of Experts.
