Georgia Moschopoulou is Assistant Professor in Faculty of Biotechnology of the Agricultural University of Athens and she holds a M.Sc. in Biotechnology and a PhD in Cell-based Biosensors. Her field of scientific interest is focused on in vitro plant and animal tissue culture and development of cellular biosensors for applications in food safety and medicine. She has co-pioneered the development of the technology of Molecular Identification through Membrane Engineering (MIME). She is the author or co-author of $28$ peer-reviewed articles in cited international scientific journals (h-index: $11$), as well as the author or co-author of more than $20$ conference presentations. She has been invited guest co-editor in special issues of scientific journals. She has participated in $14$ national and European projects. She is member of the Hellenic Society of Nanotechnology in Health Sciences.
