Samir Ananou was an undergraduate at the University of Mohamed I (1998), then completed with a Master in Microbial Ecology (2000). Later, he accomplished in 2003 his PhD degree (Food Microbiology) with special honors at the University of Granada. He applied to two postdoc positions at the University of Granada, and he became Professor at the University of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah in 2010. Dr. Samir Ananou is a member of the Department of Microbiology where his researches focus on food microbiology. He published 25 peer-reviewed articles and 2 books.
